Festival Director - Robert Bojorquez

Robert Bojorquez is a Seattle filmmaker and film festival organizer who graduated from Western Washington University in August 2013 with a Bachelor's in Marketing and Film Studies. He grew up in Spokane, WA making videos after school with his neighborhood friends and staunchly defends its dry heat, cool creeks, and frozen yogurt. In his spare time he enjoys a good romp through the snow, high-fidelity speakers, and admiring articulate woodwork. He aspires to a future with a family, counter-tops so clean you can eat off 'em, and a uniformly manicured lawn.

Concert Manager - Eli Hanavan

Eli Hanavan is the current AS Productions Pop Music Coordinator at Western Washington University who will be graduating June 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Internet Studies. Growing up in Washington, Eli has been influenced by the colorful music culture of the Pacific Northwest. Because of a developed appreciation for all styles of artistry and aesthetics, Eli strives to follow his passion to build and support musicians, venues, communities, and their creative endeavors.

Education Coordinator - Juliette Machado

Juliette Machado is a local Bellingham dancer, filmmaker, photographer, and arts administrator. She spends her time working at Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth (BAAY), at the Pickford Film Center, for her own photo/video business (JM Works), and rehearsing with Bellingham Repertory Dance. Juliette received her BFA in Dance and BA in Communication Studies from WWU, and has since loved collaborating with other arts organizations such as Kuntz and Company, Skagit Opera, Harper & I Dance Center, and now Northwest Heat! She also loves listing things. And pie.

Venue Manager - Nate Sawtell

Nate Sawtell is a filmmaker, videographer, and film enthusiast / proud cinephile. He has been making films since middle school, often with friends or through classes. Nate is currently a student at Fairhaven College set to graduate in Spring 2016 with a concentration in Film Studies, Film Production, and Visual Culture. He is currently working on a feature length film with a few other students with hopes of it premiering in Bellingham in Spring 2016. And he equally likes both cats and dogs.

Volunteer Coordinator - Conor O'Keefe

Conor O'Keefe is a “Fairhaven Film” student at Western Washington University where he serves as KVIK Assistant Coordinator and Video Production lead of TEDxWWU. He enjoys working on projects with artists from varying mediums because he believes that collaboration is the key to creation. After applying to several film festivals (and receiving mostly rejections), he decided to see how the other side of the festival is run. Conor is a freelance videographer and about to start production on his first feature that himself and three other students wrote in early 2016.

Festival Photographer - Jonathan Williams

Jonathan Williams is a social media marketer and photographer for Western Washington University and a freelance photographer. He grew up in the tiny rural town of Marblemount, Washington, and isn’t entirely sure how he went from shooting cans with a bb-gun to shooting bands with a fancy camera. He has contributed to various WWU publications and social media outlets as well as What’s Up! Magazine. His hobbies include chaos, kindness, and looking shabby but wearing neckties so nobody notices.
